Oats Beetroot Cheela

Ingredients


Powdered Oats 1 cup (Powdered using Nutribullet milling blade)
Beetroot 1/2

Tomato 1
Green chili 2-3
Chopped onion 1/4 cup
Salt to taste
Coriander powder 1/2 tsp
Water

Serving size 2-3 person

Preparation

  1. Blend together powdered oat, salt, beetroot pieces, green chili, coriander powder and water in a nutribullet. Keep adding water to achieve appropriate consistency. You can now either add the chopped onion to the batter or add it on top of cheela when on skillet/pan.
  2. Spray some oil on a heated flat non stick pan and pour the prepared batter and spread it in circular motion and add onions if you haven't added earlier.
  3. Let one side cook(for at least a min) before you turn the cheela on the other side. You can cover cook for best results.
  4. Oatmeal cheela is read to be served with mint chutney or ketchup.
