Ingredients
Powdered Oats 1 cup (Powdered using Nutribullet milling blade)
Beetroot 1/2
Tomato 1
Green chili 2-3
Chopped onion 1/4 cup
Salt to taste
Coriander powder 1/2 tsp
Water
Serving size 2-3 person
Preparation
- Blend together powdered oat, salt, beetroot pieces, green chili, coriander powder and water in a nutribullet. Keep adding water to achieve appropriate consistency. You can now either add the chopped onion to the batter or add it on top of cheela when on skillet/pan.
- Spray some oil on a heated flat non stick pan and pour the prepared batter and spread it in circular motion and add onions if you haven't added earlier.
- Let one side cook(for at least a min) before you turn the cheela on the other side. You can cover cook for best results.
- Oatmeal cheela is read to be served with mint chutney or ketchup.
