How To Make Restaurant Style Choco Lava Cake (Molten Chocolate Lava) At Home?

Ingredients

Baker's Semi Sweet Chocolate 1 Pack (4oz)
Butter 1/2 cup
Powdered Sugar 1 cup
Whole eggs 2
Egg yolks 2
All Purpose Flour 6 Tbsp

Serving Size: 6

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 425 F.
  2. Butter small custard cups or any other oven safe small bowls, place on baking sheet.
  3. Microwave chocolate and butter in medium microwaveable bowls for 1 min on high or until butter is melted.
  4. Whisk until chocolate is completely melted.
  5. Stir in powdered sugar, whisk to mix completely.
  6. Add eggs and egg yolks, mix well.
  7. Stir in flour.
  8. Pour batter into buttered cups and bake for 13-14 min or until edges are firm but the centre is still soft.
  9. Let it stand for 1 min.
  10. Carefully run knife around the cake and gently invert the cake into serving plates. Dust with powdered sugar.
  11. Serve warm to enjoy the molten centre.
