Pan Cake

Ingredients

All purpose flour 1 cup
Milk/ butter milk 3/4 cup
Melted butter 2 tbsp
Baking powder 11/2 tbsp
Sugar 2 tbsp
Egg 1
Vanilla essence 1/2 tbsp
Salt 1/2 tbsp
Cooking spray

Preparation

  1. Combine flour, baking powder, sugar and salt in a mixing bowl.
  2. Make a well in the centre and add egg, milk, butter and vanilla essence. Whisk until a smooth batter is ready and lumps are gone.
  3. Heat a flat pan over medium heat, spray oil and pour 1/4 cup of batter and cook until bubbles appear on the surface.
  4. Flip with spatula and cook the other side until brown.
  5. Serve it hot with syrup and whip cream topping.
