Sattu ki puri

Ingredients

Roasted gram flour 2 cup 
Chopped onion 1/2 cup
Mined green chilli 
Masala from stuffed chilli pickle 
Oil from mango pickle
Salt to taste
Flour 
Water
Mangraila/ Kanlonji (Nigella) 
Oil for frying 

Preparation 

Dough

  Mix 1/4 tbsp salt, 1 tbsp oil, mangraila and water to the flour and knead to a tight dough.


  1. Mix together sattu, onion, green chilli, masala, oil and salt.
  2. Cut equal portiona from the dough, round and roll them.
  3. Fill the sattu filling, fold the outer edges in and then roll again to make kachauri.
  4. Heat oil in a wok.
  5. Fry the kachauris on moderate heat untill golden brown.
  6. Serve hot with coriander chutney.
